Buddha Circuit or Buddha Paripath is a group of places related in one way or other to Lord Gautam Buddha. Most of the places falls within India except the birth place Kapilvastu which falls in Lumbini District of Nepal. Buddha places under Buddha circuit are shown in the map below. These places are Ladakh, Tabo, Kapilavastu, Kushi Nagar, Sarnath, Sankisa, Kaushambi, Shravasti, Tawang, Sanchi, Nalanda, Vaishali, Rajgir, Bodhgaya, Gaya, Sikkim(Rumtek Monastery), Ajanta Caves, Junnar Caves, Bhaja Caves, Kanheri Caves, Karla Caves, Orrisa (Lalitagiri, Ratnagiri and Udaigiri) and Nagarjunakonda (Near Hyderabad).
Lord Gautam Buddha was born in this town now falls under Nepal's Lumbini District. Nearest border town on Indian side is Naugarh now district headquarter of Siddhartha Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh.
