Ganga Prasad Smarak Inter College: This college provides quality education up to Intermediate level to boys and girls from chauri chaura and nearby villages. One of the oldest schools teaching science subjects is well known for its academic and cocurricular activities. Shri Ramakant Jaiswal, the most dynamic former principal of this school, himself was holding a rank of Caption from National Cadet Core (NCC). Now the school has Shri Mani as its principal.	J B Mahajan Mahaila Mahavidyalaya: This college provides quality education to girls upto Bachelor's degree level. Affiliated to DDU Gorakhpur University, the college is able to resolve the very old issue of girl's higher education need. Credit goes to local prominent citizen Shree Bhagwan Das Jaiswal who also manages many other educational institutions.
